Lasik treatment and procedure

- The procedure is very simple and takes only 10-15 minutes for both the eyes
- The anesthetic drops are first instilled to make the procedure painless
- Over your regular wear you will be wearing a gown and your head will be covered with a cap and cover for your feet will be given
- You will be asked to lie down on a couch and your head will be positioned by the doctor and you will be asked to look at a green blinking light

- As you are escorted out of the laser room the vision may be a little blurred and there might be some amount of watering
- You are asked to instil drops in the eye post operatively as per prescription and you may take an analgesic if required
- You are advised to go home and rest with your eyes closed for about 4 hours

The Process of FEMTO LASIK
